BARRIE, Ont. - Nicholas Foglia scored the winning goal late in the third period as the Brampton Battalion defeated the host Barrie Colts 4-3 in Ontario Hockey League action on Saturday.
Matt MacLeod, Marcus McIvor and Barclay Goodrow also scored for Brampton (7-8-5), which won on the road for the first time this season.
Mark Scheifele scored twice for Barrie (14-5-1) while Brendan Bell added a single goal.
Zach Hall added a pair of assists in the loss.
Battalion goaltender Matej Machovsky made 24 saves in the win as Colts' Mathias Niederberger turned aside 35 shots in a losing cause.
Brampton finished the game 1-for-3 on the power play while Barrie went 1-for-4.
