OSHAWA, Ont. - Rookie Michael Dal Colle had two goals and two assists to lead the Oshawa Generals past the Kingston Frontenacs 5-2 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Linemate Tyler Biggs also had four points, including a goal, as the Generals improved their East Division-leading record to 11-6-2.

Biggs is also in his first year in the OHL, but the 19-year-old first-round draft pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs played in the NCAA last year and is not considered a rookie.

Dal Colle tied the game 2-2 just 12 seconds into the second period and added an insurance goal early in the third.

Scott Sabourin scored the eventual winner with 31 second remaining in the second. Captain Boone Jenner added an empty-net goal and also had an assist for Oshawa.

Darcy Greenaway and Sam Bennett replied for the Frontenacs (7-9-0).

Daniel Altshuller made 29 saves for his 11th win of the season, tied for the most in the OHL.

The Generals fired 41 shots at Kingston goalie Mike Morrison.

Both teams were 1-for-3 on the power play.
