Brett Ritchie scores four goals, adds two assists as IceDogs humble Storm 9-4

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Brett Ritchie scored a career high six points on four goals and two assists as the Niagara IceDogs clobbered the Guelph Storm 9-4 in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday night.

The line of Ritchie, Ryan Strome and Mitchell Theoret combined for 16 points as both Strome (one goal, four assists) and Theoret (two goals, three assists) each had five point games.

Mack Lemmon and Jesse Graham had the other IceDogs (11-6-1) goals.

Lost in the Guelph defeat was the play of Storm rookie forward Robby Fabbri, who scored his first three OHL goals for the hat trick. Scott Kosmachuck also scored for Guelph (11-5-1).

Storm goaltender, and Toronto Maple Leafs draft pick, Garret Sparks was pulled in the first period after allowing three goals on just eight shots.

Jason DaSilva allowed six goals on 33 shots the rest of the way.

Chris Festarini turned aside 31 saves to pick up the win for Niagara who went 3 for 7 on the power play. Guelph was 0 for 5.
