Jordan Binnington makes 33 saves as Owen Sound Attack down Plymouth Whalers 4-2

OWEN SOUND, Ont. - Jordan Binnington made 33 saves Wednesday as the Owen Sound Attack defeated the Plymouth Whalers 4-2 in the Ontario Hockey League.

Daniel Catenacci, with a goal and an assist, Joseph Blandisi, Kurtis Gabriel and Cameron Brace, into an empty net, scored for Owen Sound (6-1-1).

Cody Payne and Rickard Rakell replied for Plymouth (2-2-2).

Riley Corbin started in goal for the Whalers but was replaced midway through the second period after giving up three goals on 13 shots. Matt Mahalak stopped all 16 shots he faced the rest of the way.

Owen Sound finished 1-for-8 on the power play, while Plymouth scored on one of its five man-advantage opportunities.
