BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Mark Barberio scored a power-play goal in overtime to keep his team's record winning streak alive as the Norfolk Admirals beat the Binghamton Senators 3-2 in American Hockey League action Saturday.

The Admirals (54-18-3) have won 27 games in a row — the longest streak in AHL or NHL history. They haven't lost since Super Bowl Sunday.

It looked like their record streak might come to an end in Binghamton. Mike Hoffman and Matt Puempel scored second-period goals to give the Senators a 2-1 lead heading into the third period.

Alex Killorn brought the Admirals back in it with a power-play goal at 13:21 of the third period.

Defenceman Mike Kostka assisted on Killorn's tying goal and Barberio's winner.

Norfolk's Cory Conacher, recently named the AHL's player of the year, opened the scoring at 19:24 of the first period with his 36th goal of the year.

Dustin Tokarski made 22 saves for Norfolk.

Mike McKenna stopped 46 shots for Binghamton (29-40-7).

The Admirals will have one more chance to add to their record streak when they visit the Adirondack Phantoms on Sunday.
