Nashville and Detroit can claim two of the remaining 11 playoff spots by the end of Monday's action.

The Predators are not in action, but they can clinch a berth in the postseason for the third straight season if both San Jose and Los Angeles lose in regulation. The Sharks are hosting Colorado at HP Pavilion while the Kings are in Vancouver at Rogers Arena.

Nashville beat Chicago, 6-1, on Sunday to put itself in position to clinch without even playing Monday.

Detroit will clinch a playoff berth for the 21st consecutive season with a win over Columbus. The Red Wings can also clinch if they get at least one point out of Monday's game against the Blue Jackets and both the Sharks and Kings lose in regulation.

The Red Wings are 3-1 against the Blue Jackets this season.

The only teams to clinch a playoff berth so far are the Blues, Rangers, Penguins, Canucks and Flyers. There are 13 days remaining in the regular season.
