NBCSP, TSN have NHL doubleheaders on Wednesday

Wednesday is a relatively light night, with only four games on the NHL schedule -- but that doesn't mean there isn't plenty of action for hockey fans.

The NBC Sports Network will have a doubleheader for viewers in the United States, while TSN will offer a pair of games for fans in Canada.

The action begins at 7:30 p.m. ET, when the Boston Bruins visit Buffalo in a game that can be seen on NBCSP as well as TSN2. Also at 7:30, Edmonton continues its road trip with a visit to Detroit, where the Wings haven't lost in regulation since Nov. 3. That game can be seen in Canada on TSN and RDS.

The other two games both get under way at 10 p.m. ET.

Both NBCSP and TSN will be in hand in San Jose when the Sharks host the Calgary Flames. The Sharks have been off since Saturday's 5-3 loss at Phoenix, while the Flames had a day off to recover after Monday's 3-2 loss in an eight-round shootout at Anaheim.

The Ducks are back in action at 10, hosting the Carolina Hurricanes, who've been off since Saturday's 2-1 home win against Los Angeles.  It's the Ducks' last game at the Honda Center before beginning a nine-game road trip.
