Wings-Coyotes to be shown on NBCSP, TSN2

The Detroit Red Wings' bid to extend their lead atop the NHL standings will be televised across the United States and Canada on Monday night.

Detroit (35-16-2), which is 8-1-1 over its last 10 games, brings a one-point lead over the New York Rangers to the desert as the Wings -- who are three points ahead of Vancouver in the Western Conference -- face the Phoenix Coyotes at Jobing.com Arena. Opening faceoff is slated for 8 p.m. ET and can be seen on the NBC Sports Network in the U.S. and TSN2 in Canada.

The Coyotes (23-21-8) enter Monday's action four points behind Minnesota for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Phoenix, which concludes its six-game homestand Monday, is coming off a 5-3 win against San Jose on Saturday.

There are only two other games on the NHL schedule Monday night -- Toronto hosts Edmonton at 7 p.m. ET, while Calgary faces Anaheim at the Honda Center (10 p.m. ET).
