The Philadelphia Flyers haven't lost three games in a row all season, and they have no intention of starting now. But to avoid their first three-game slide, they'll have to beat the improved Dallas Stars in one of six games on Wednesday's NHL schedule.

The Flyers come to Dallas after a 3-2 shootout loss in Colorado on Monday night, the same night the Stars returned home from a five-game trip and beat the Anaheim Ducks 5-3.

The game can be seen on VERSUS in the United States and TSN2 in Canada, beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Wednesday's action begins a half-hour earlier when the Phoenix Coyotes visit Carolina. The Coyotes won 2-1 in Florida on Tuesday, while the Hurricanes have been off since a 3-2 overtime loss to the same Panthers on Sunday.

Also at 7:30, Chicago returns home after a 3-2 loss in Pittsburgh on Tuesday to host Montreal. The Canadiens have lost both games under interim coach Randy Cunneyworth, including a 3-2 defeat at Boston on Monday. That game can be seen in Canada on RDS and TSN.

At 9:30 p.m. ET, St. Louis visits Colorado. The Blues have been off since beating Columbus 6-4 on Sunday.

A half-hour later, two of the best teams in the Western Conference meet when Detroit visits Vancouver. Both teams won on Monday -- the Wings were 3-2 winners in Edmonton, while the Canucks routed the visiting Minnesota Wild 4-0. That game can also be seen in Canada on TSN.

In the final game of the evening, Tampa Bay starts a quick West Coast trip with a visit to San Jose. Both teams have been off since 3-2 wins on Saturday -- the Lightning won at Columbus, while the Sharks beat Edmonton at home.
