Devils goalie
Martin Brodeur will continue to rehab his injured right shoulder and will be out at least 7-10 more days, but he will not need surgery, the team announced Wednesday afternoon.
Brodeur hasn't been on the ice since injuring his shoulder in the first period against the Kings last Thursday. He met with his doctor Tuesday and the team received the results Wednesday.
The Devils don't play again until Friday at home against San Jose. It is likely that
Johan Hedberg gets the start and
Keith Kinkaid, who dressed for last Saturday's game in Nashville, remains as his backup.
