Stephane Legault scores two goals as Oil Kings defeat Broncos 4-1

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Stephane Legault scored twice to spark the Edmonton Oil Kings to a 4-1 win over the host Swift Current Broncos in Western Hockey League action Sunday.

Edmonton won two of three games during a weekend East Division road swing and improved to 4-2-2 on the season.

T.J. Foster and rookie Curtis Lazar, with his first career WHL goal, also scored for Edmonton.

Graham Black had the lone goal for Swift Current (2-4-1).

Edmonton netminder Laurent Brossoit improved to 4-2-1 on the season by turning aside 28 shots.

Swift Current overage netminder Jon Groenheyde, who was acquired from the Oil Kings earlier in the week, turned aside 29 of 33 shots while falling to 0-1-1 on the season.

The Oil Kings outshot the Broncos 33-29.
