Leafs' hard work paid off in power-play chances

No one can accuse the Leafs of not working hard on the road. They drew more power plays away from home (171) than any team in the League.

Regulation losses by the Leafs when they led after two periods. The Leafs took a lead into the third period 28 times and got at least one point in all 28, going 24-0-4.

Worst 2010-11 Number: 7-12-4
Toronto's record on Saturdays -- particularly discouraging when you consider the Leafs played 14 of their 23 Saturday games at home. They were just 5-5-4 in those games, and 2-7-0 on the road.
   
Scheduling
The Leafs have no excuse for a slow start. Their first five games are at home -- and after opening the season against Montreal, the other four teams all missed the playoffs last season. They also have nine of 10 at home to start January. Toronto has no trip longer than a five-gamer in March, but has a four-game trip in each of the season's first three months.
