The
Los Angeles Kings announced Wednesday the team had signed restricted free agent forward
Brad Richardson to a two-year contract.
Terms of the deal were not released, but the Los Angeles Times is reporting the contract will lay Richardson a total of $2.35 million.
The 26-year-old center had 7 goals and 12 assists in 68 games for the Kings last season, and tied for the team lead in playoff scoring with 5 points in six games.
In three seasons with the Kings, Richardson has 18 goals and 33 assists in 180 games.
A 2003 fifth-round pick of the
Colorado Avalanche, Richardson has 37 goals and 54 assists in 316 NHL games with the Avs and Kings.
