The
Nashville Predators have traded defenseman
Alexander Sulzer to the
Florida Panthers for a conditional seventh-round draft pick.
The Predators will receive Florida's seventh-round pick in 2012 if Sulzer re-signs with the Panthers.
Sulzer has 1 goal and 4 points in 31 games this season for the Predators, and the 26-year-old defenseman is an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. A third-round pick in the 2003 Entry Draft, Sulzer has bounced between Nashville and Milwaukee of the American Hockey League for the past two seasons.
Nashville also reportedly put forward
Wade Belak on waivers and forward
Steve Sullivan on injured reserve.
