New York Rangers right wing
Marian Gaborik left after the first the period of Sunday's 4-2 loss against the
Philadelphia Flyers at Madison Square Garden and did not return due to a concussion.
Gaborik did not appear to take major hit during his 4:39 of ice time. He sat for most of the first period, but returned to play the final 29 seconds and did not return to the bench for the second period.
This is the second major injury for Gaborik this season. He missed 12 games between October and November due to a separated shoulder.
Gaborik, who had 42 goals in 76 games last season, has just 17 in 46 games this season.
