Watch NHL Network pre-game, post-game shows

Starting at 5 p.m. ET today,  NHL Network is your must-stay-tuned channel for all things 2011 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic. NHL Network is planning a feast of pre-game and post-game programming from the Heinz Field rink in Pittsburgh. The pre-game show is 5 to 8 p.m.

The NHL Network pre-game crew features host David Amber and analysts Bob Errey and Olie Kolzig in the booth with field reporters Deb Placey and E.J. Hradek providing updates from ice level and locker rooms. Fans will get regular Pittsburgh weather updates too.

Pre-game guests include NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, Pittsburgh Steelers President Art Rooney II, game show host Pat Sajak, NHL ice guru Dan Craig and plenty of interviews with Capitals and Penguins players and coaches at today’s morning skates.

Then, after watching the big game on NBC, CBC or RDS, tune in to an extensive post-game show on NHL Network. Amber, Errey and Kolzig return to the booth for instant analysis while field reporters Deb Placey and Alyonka Lirianov provide walk-off interviews and more. The NHL Network post-game show will also cut into live press conferences with coaches Bruce Boudreau of Washington and Dan Bylsma of Pittburgh, plus any players that go to the media podium.

That’s NHL Network from 5 to 8 p.m., then immediately following the game.
