Atlanta Thrashers forward
Anthony Stewart, who has 4 goals in his past two games including his first career hat trick last week against Anaheim, will be among the guests on NHL Live! on Wednesday, scheduled from noon-2 p.m. on NHL Network and NHL.com and broadcast on XM Radio.
Stewart, a former first-round pick of the Panthers and the older brother of Avalanche forward
Chris Stewart, had 4 career goals in 108 NHL games before scoring three times in the Thrashers' 5-4 shootout win over the Ducks and the tying goal in what became a 4-2 victory against the Sharks. The Thrashers rallied from two-goal deficits in both games.
Also slated to appear with hosts Deb Placey and Billy Jaffe are
Steven Stamkos of the
Tampa Bay Lightning and
James van Riemsdyk of the
Philadelphia Flyers. Former NHL center
Bobby Holik, TSN host James Duthie and Boston College men's hockey coach Jerry York will make appearances as well.
