Oilers re-sign Liam Reddox

General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have agreed to terms with left-winger Liam Reddox on a one-year contract.

Reddox, 24, played 70 games with the Springfield Falcons last season collecting 35 points (18G,17A). He also appeared in nine games with the Oilers posting two assists.

Reddox, who is from Whitby, Ontario, has played in 56 career NHL games scoring five goals and adding nine assists. The 5'11", 190-pound winger has also played in 149 AHL games recording 88 points (39G,49A).

Reddox was originally drafted by Edmonton in the 4th round, 112th overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. He played his junior hockey with the Peterborough Petes in the Ontario Hockey League. In 208 games he collected 210 points (86G, 124A).
