One of the best rivalries in the NHL takes center stage on Tuesday night as part of the League's four-game schedule.
Two of the "Original Six" teams, the
Toronto Maple Leafs and the
Montreal Canadiens, will square off in front of what will surely be a capacity crowd at the Bell Centre at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Habs (12-12-2) are coming off a 4-3 shootout loss against Washington on Saturday, while the Leafs were blanked on Monday in a 3-0 defeat against Buffalo. The game can be seen on TSN in Canada.
A continental-wide audience will be treated to a Central Division showdown at 8 p.m. ET, when the
Chicago Blackhawks host the
Columbus Blue Jackets at the United Center.
R.J. Umberger had three goals and an assist in Monday's 5-2 win against St. Louis, which pulled the Blue Jackets within five points of first-place Chicago. The game can be seen on Versus in the U.S. and on TSN2 in Canada.
Two games will take place at 10:30 p.m. ET -- the
San Jose Sharks host the
Ottawa Senators at HP Pavilion in
Dany Heatley's first game against his former team, while the
Anaheim Ducks take on the
Los Angeles Kings at the Honda Center. The Ducks (10-11-4) are in last place in the Pacific Division, while the Kings trail San Jose by eight points.
