Pens, Thrashers, Jackets look for more on Tuesday

Another three games of nonstop action is on tap for the NHL on Tuesday night.

It all begins at 7 p.m. ET, when the Pittsburgh Penguins host the St. Louis Blues at Mellon Arena. The red-hot Pens are off to a tremendous start with seven wins in their first eight games, while the Blues, who reached the Stanley Cup Playoffs in 2009 despite numerous injuries, are 3-2-1. The game can be seen on Versus in the U.S. and TSN2 in Canada.

The Montreal Canadiens will try to get back on track at 7:30 p.m. ET, as they'll host the Atlanta Thrashers at the Bell Centre. Montreal (2-5-0) has lost five in a row, while the Thrashers are off to an impressive 4-1-0 start behind seven goals from superstar forward Ilya Kovalchuk. In Canada, the Habs-Thrashers showdown can be seen on TSN and RDS.

In the final game of the night, the Columbus Blue Jackets look to continue their winning ways against the Calgary Flames at the Pengrowth Saddledome. Columbus (5-1-0), which is off to the best start in franchise history, can seize control of the Central Division with a victory. The Flames (5-2-1) are coming off a 5-3 win against Vancouver on Friday night.
