U.S. greats to visit NHL Live on Monday

A trio of all-time U.S.-born greats will be guests on NHL Live on Monday, as Pat LaFontaine, Mike Richter and Brian Leetch are all slated to be on the program.

Richter and Leetch were key components of the New York Rangers' 1994 run to the Stanley Cup championship, the franchise's lone title in the last 69 years. Richter won 301 games in his NHL career and went 41-33 in 76 postseason appearances.

Leetch won the Conn Smythe Trophy in 1994 as the Most Valuable Player of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. He had 34 points (11 goals, 23 assists) that postseason.

LaFontaine played in the NHL from 1984-98 with the New York Islanders, Buffalo Sabres and New York Rangers. He had 1,013 points (468 goals, 545 assists) in 865 games.
