Crosby will be in lineup when Penguins visit Islanders

Sidney Crosby skated at the Penguins optional morning skate on Saturday and will be in the line-up for the match-up with the New York Islanders at Nassau Coliseum at 7 p.m.

Crosby left practice early on Friday with an undisclosed injury. There was some uncertainty on his playing status as a result, but he will play against the Islanders.

Crosby initially suffered the injury against the Phoenix Coyotes on Oct. 30. Despite the injury, he hasn't missed a game this season.

Evgeni Malkin and Petr Sykora were the only Penguins not to participate in the optional morning skate.
