• In his first year in North America, Kniazev ranked second among Chicoutimi Sagueneens defensemen with 13-21—34 in 55 games. His 13 goals ranked second among QMJHL rookie defensemen, behind only Charlottetown Islanders blueliner and 2020 Draft-eligible prospect Lukas Cormier (15).

• Internationally, Kniazev represented Team Russia at the 2017 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge (1-2—3 in 5 GP), helped his country earn silver at the 2018 World Junior A Challenge (2-0—2 in 6 GP) and bronze at the 2018 Hlinka Gretzky Cup (1-2—3 in 5 GP).
