• He finished second among all players under 20 years of age in the Czech Republic’s top league with 16 points, trailing only World Junior linemate and Carolina Hurricanes prospect Martin Necas (9-8—17 in 24 GP).

• Kaut has represented the Czech Republic on the international stage multiple times including producing at a point-per-game pace at the 2018 World Junior Championship (2-5—7 in 7 GP) and as a key member of their gold medal-winning team at the 2016 Ivan Hlinka Memorial (1-3—4 in 5 GP).
