• Petruzzelli recorded 22 wins in 2016-17, ranking within the top-10 among United States Hockey League goaltenders and first among rookies (35 GP). His .918 save percentage was the best among rookie netminders while his 2.40 goals-against average and two shutouts were second only to Green Bay’s Maksim Zhukov (2.25 GAA, 4 SO) among first-year netminders.

• After being selected in the ninth round (138th overall) of the 2015 USHL Futures Draft, Petruzzelli was named to the USHL All-Rookie Team after his strong 2016-17 season.

• Petruzzelli (21-1-0, 1.13 GAA, .936 SV% and 9 SO) earned Goaltender of the Year and Most Valuable Player honors in 2015-16 en route to winning the U.S. Premier Hockey League Under-18 Championship with Selects Hockey Academy.

• Internationally, Petruzzelli represented the United States at the 2016 Ivan Hlinka Memorial.
