• Chmelevski ranked fourth on the 67’s in goals and points with 21-22—43, including a team-high 12 power-play goals, during the 2016-17 season (58 GP) and finished with 2-2—4 in the playoffs (6 GP). He was the recipient of the Bobby Smith Trophy, awarded annually to the OHL Scholastic Player of the Year.
• After being selected 10th overall in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection by Sarnia, Chmelevski played 29 games for the Sting, including a hat trick against the Sault Ste. Marie on Oct. 16, 2015, before being traded to Ottawa on Jan. 7, 2016. He finished the 2015-16 season with 11-8—19 in 34 GP.
• Internationally, Chmelevski represented Team USA at the 2015 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, recording 2-2—4 in 5 GP. He also led all players at the 2016 Ivan Hlinka Memorial with 4-5—9 in four games to help the United States take home a silver medal.
