• Gustavsson was one of three junior-aged goaltenders to suit up in the Swedish Hockey League in 2015-16, winning four of his six appearances for Lulea. He spent the remainder of the season as the starting netminder for the club in the country’s top junior league.
• Gustavsson has backstopped Team Sweden to medals at a number of major international events, winning silver at the 2016 Under-18 World Championship where he was named Top Goaltender after posting a 2.70 goals-against average and .906 save percentage in five appearances.
• He also won a silver medal at the 2015 Ivan Hlinka Memorial, posting the tournament’s second-best save percentage (.934) while starting all five contests for Sweden.
• Gustavsson started every game for his country at the 2014 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge (6 GP), capping the tournament with a 25-save performance in Sweden’s 3-1 victory over Finland in the bronze medal game. He paced all goaltenders in save percentage (.942) and shutouts (2) and finished second in goals-against average (1.61).
• He was named Best Goaltender at the 2013-14 TV-Pucken, a youth tournament in Sweden, after leading his team to a shutout win in the gold medal game.
