• Reichel ranked second on the Red Deer Rebels in goals (34) and third in points (57) during the 2017-18 season. He then produced at a point-per-game pace during the 2018 WHL Playoffs with 3-2—5 in 5 GP.

• Internationally, Reichel was named a tournament All-Star at the 2016 World Junior A Challenge after recording 2-3—5 in 5 GP and has represented the Czech Republic in back-to-back World Junior Championship appearances.

• His father, Robert Reichel, was selected 70th overall by the Flames in the 1989 NHL Draft and recorded 252-378—630 in 830 career NHL games with the Flames, Islanders, Coyotes and Maple Leafs.

• His uncle, Martin Reichel, was selected 37th overall by the Oilers in the 1992 NHL Draft and played professional hockey in Germany.
