• Roy was named the 2011-12 United States Hockey League Player of the Year after he became the first player in the league’s current format (since 2002) to score 50 goals. He led the league with 104 points (54-50--104) and helped Lincoln to a 38-18-4 regular-season record, the most wins for the Stars in 10 years.
• In the 2012 USHL playoffs, he led Lincoln with seven goals and 10 points (7-3--10), before the Stars were eliminated in the Western Conference Final series by Waterloo.
