• Through the first two rounds of the Ontario Hockey League playoffs, he finished tied for third on the team with five playoff goals in 10 games -- the Generals were eliminated by the Niagara Icedogs in five games.

• In 2010-11, Lessio finished second on Oshawa in rookie scoring with 27 goals and 54 points in 66 games.

• Lessio joins three Oshawa Generals forwards on the Central Scouting final rankings list – Boone Jenner (No. 18 ranked), Nicklas Jensen (No. 21 ranked) and Colin Suellentrop (No. 140 ranked).

• His father, Claudio, played for the Erie Blades in the ACHL and was inducted into the Ball Hockey Hall of Fame. Lucas credits his dad for having the biggest influence on his career – “he always pushes me to my potential and gives me essential tips on how to improve my game”.

• A Vaughn Rangers minor hockey product, Lessio competed for the St. Michael’s Buzzers of the CCHL in 2009-10, scoring 30 goals and 42 assists.

• He represented Canada at the 2010 Under-18 Ivan Hlinka tournament and won silver with Team Ontario at the 2010 Under-17 World Challenge.
