• He competed for Team Slovakia at the 2010 World Junior Championships, as well as the 2009 and 2010 Under-18 World Championships.

• Marincin’s goal is to play in North American next season, hopefully in the Canadian Hockey League.

• He started playing hockey when he was six years old and he played his whole minor hockey career for HC Kosice.

• His most memorable hockey moment was playing in an all-star game against Slovakian NHL players and his childhood hockey hero was Jaromir Jagr.
