• A two-way defenseman, Chabot led all Sea Dogs blueliners with 41 points (12-29—41) in 66 games in 2014-15, nearly doubling his point total from his rookie season in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. He also finished with a plus-6 rating, up from his minus-29 rating in 2013-14.

• Chabot registered at least one point in eight consecutive games from Jan. 26 to Feb. 14, 2014 (1-9—10), marking the second-longest single-season point streak by a defenseman in Sea Dogs history behind a 10-game run by Kevin Gagné in 2012-13.

• He won a bronze medal with Team Canada at the 2015 Under-18 World Junior Championship, tying for the team lead among defensemen with five points (1-4—5) in seven games.

• A product of the Beauce-Nord minor hockey organization in his hometown of Sainte-Marie, Que., Chabot played his Midget AAA season with the Lévis Commandeurs before being selected in the second round (22nd overall) by Saint John in the 2013 QMJHL Entry Draft.
