• In 2014-15, Roy finished third on the Saguenéens with 50 points (16-34—50) in 68 games. His 34 assists ranked second on the club behind Arizona Coyotes prospect Laurent Dauphin (selected 39th overall in 2013).

• Roy has twice medaled with Canada on the international stage, capturing gold at the 2014 Ivan Hlinka Memorial and bronze at the 2015 Under-18 World Junior Championship. He paced Team Quebec with nine points (2-7—9) in six games while wearing an “A” at the 2014 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.

• Roy played the 2012-13 season with Jérémy Lauzon (No. 42 NA Skater) on the Amos Forestiers Midget AAA team before the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles selected him with the top pick in the 2013 QMJHL Entry Draft.

• His sister, Mélina, will play hockey with the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees beginning in the fall of 2015.
