• In his second full season in the Western Hockey League, Juulsen paced Silvertips defensemen with 52 points (9-43—52) in 68 games to help the club finish atop the U.S. Division. His plus-22 rating was second on the club behind fellow sophomore Nikita Scherbak (selected 26th overall by MTL in 2014).

• Juulsen helped Team Pacific capture a silver medal at the 2014 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, tallying two points (1-1—2) in six games.

• A product of the Abbotsford Minor Hockey Association, Juulsen wore the “C” for his bantam team in 2011-12 before being selected in the fourth round (70th overall) by Everett in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft.

• Juulsen attended Yale Hockey Academy, the same school as NHL prospects Shea Theodore (selected 26th overall by ANA in 2013) and Jake Virtanen (selected 6th overall by VAN in 2014).

• The Abbotsford, B.C., native wears No. 3 because he grew up idolizing Vancouver Canucks defenseman Kevin Bieksa.
