• Fischer collected six points (2-4—6) in six games with the U.S. at the 2014 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, including a goal in the club’s 4-0 win over Team Pacific in the gold medal game. • During his first season with the United States National Team Development Program in Ann Arbor, Mich., Fischer lived with Tkachuk – the son of long-time St. Louis Blues forward Keith Tkachuk. Each player’s family lived with the pair on a rotating monthly basis.

• Fischer set a United States Hockey League record for fastest goal to start a game when he scored six seconds into the first period on March 5, 2015 vs. Omaha. The goal was shorthanded, following a penalty assessed to Team USA during pregame warmup.

• He began his career with the Cyclones Amateur Hockey Association before spending six seasons with the Chicago Mission hockey club.
