• In his second season with the Lancers, Forsbacka-Karlsson paced the club with 53 points (15-38—53) in 50 games – three more than linemate and 2014 NHL Draft prospect Shane Gersich (selected 134th overall by WSH in 2014).

• Forsbacka-Karlsson earned United States Hockey League Forward of the Week honors for the last week of November after collecting nine points (4-5—9) in three games, including his only USHL hat trick on Nov. 26 against Waterloo.

• The Stockholm native won gold with Sweden at the 2013 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, contributing five points (2-3—5) in six games. He also represented his country at both the 2013 and 2014 Under-18 World Junior Championship.

• Forsbacka-Karlsson spent the majority of the 2012-13 season with Linkoping in Sweden’s top junior league, compiling 16 points (9-7—16) in 31 games. Jakub Vrana (selected 13th overall by WSH in 2014) also played on that squad.

• He collected two points (1-1—2) at the 2015 USHL Top Prospects Game en route to capturing MVP honors for Team West.

• Forsbacka-Karlsson has committed to Boston University for the fall of 2015.
