• In his second QMJHL season with the Oceanic, Morin recorded 16 points (4-12--16) and accumulated 117 penalty minutes in 46 games before a January injury sidelined him for the balance of the regular season. He returned to the Rimouski lineup for the playoffs, recording seven points (1-6--7) in six games.

• He competed for Team Canada at the 2013 Under-18 World Championship, finishing with two points (0-2--2) and a plus-six rating in seven games to help Canada win the gold. Morin also suited up for Team Quebec at the 2012 Under-17 World Hockey Challenge.

• In 2011-12, Morin was named to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s All-Rookie Team after posting eight assists and 57 penalty minutes in 62 games..

• Morin had the highest peak power output on the Wingate bike test at the 2013 NHL Combine, registering 15.8 watts per kilogram of body weight.
