• He posted a 16-1-0 record in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League playoffs before backstopping Halifax to its first Memorial Cup. Fucale tied for the tournament lead with a .902 save percentage in four games (3-1-0) and was named to the tournament All-Star team.

• In 2012-13, Fucale led all QMJHL goaltenders with 45 wins (45-5-2-1) and was second overall with a 2.14 goals-against average.

• On Feb. 17, 2013, he became the Mooseheads’ all-time franchise leader with his 69th career win, surpassing Stanley Cup winner Jean-Sebastien Giguere (69 wins in 152 career games). He also became the fastest 17-year-old to reach 50 career wins in the QMJHL. Fucale finished the season with 77 career wins in 113 games.

• In 2011-12, he was selected as Halifax’s Top Rookie, Academic Player of the Year and co-MVP (alongside fellow prospect Nathan McKinnon) as well as named the Fans’ Choice. With 32 wins in his first year, he also was named to the QMJHL All-Rookie Team.

• In 2011-12, Fucale set the QMJHL record for wins by a 16-year-old netminder (28), finishing the season with a 32-18-2-4 record. Ranking second in wins among QMJHL goaltenders, Fucale was named the League’s Defensive Player of the Year and to the League’s All-Rookie Team. He also was chosen as Halifax’s co-MVP (with top prospect Nathan MacKinnon).

• Fucale recorded four wins, including a shutout in the championship game, to lead Team Canada to a gold medal at the 2012 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament. He also played alongside Halifax teammate Jonathan Drouin (No. 3-ranked North American skater) at the 2012 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, competing in all of Team Quebec’s games.
