• The 6’3” winger was selected 42nd overall by Saginaw in the 2009 CHL import draft and finished the season third in Ontario Hockey League rookie scoring this season with 44 points in 51 games (26-18--44).

• A runner-up for the OHL Rookie of the Year, Telegin won the OHL’s Rookie of the Month in October and November and was selected to the Second All-Rookie Team.

• Telegin played for Russia at the 2010 World Junior Hockey Championship and won a silver medal with Russia in the 2009 Ivan Hlinka Memorial.
