• His responsibility increased significantly in his second OHL season, he was often playing on the top line in Owen Sound. He posted 63 points (20-43--63) in 68 games, including 16 points (7-9--16) in the month of February as the Attack pushed for a playoff spot.
• Shipley represented Canada at the 2010 Under-18 World Championships and won a gold medal with Team Ontario at the 2009 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.
