• Gildon ranked 10th in team scoring and third among defensemen as he collected 11-22—33 in 63 contests with the U.S. National Under-18 Team during the 2016-17 season. He added 5-9—14 in 26 USHL games with the club.
• A native of Plano, Texas, Gildon developed his game with the Dallas Stars Under-16 program before joining the U.S. National Under-17 Team for the 2015-16 season (1-18—19 in 58 GP).
• Internationally, Gildon won a gold medal with the United States at the 2017 Under-18 World Championship (4-2—6 in 7 GP) and was named to the tournament All-Star Team after leading all defensemen in goals (4). He also represented his country at the 2015 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge (1-2—3 in 5 GP).
