• Zador started his first full OHL season with the London Knights before being traded to the Oshawa Generals as part of the John Tavares trade. He played 28 games in 2008-09, 18 with Oshawa, recording 11 wins and a combined .897 save-percentage.

• Being a part of the gold medal winning Team Ontario at the 2008 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge is his most memorable hockey moment – “it was the biggest tournament I won”.

• Zador played his minor hockey for the Toronto Marlies minor hockey association and played on his first hockey team at the age of six in a Wexford, Ontario house league.

• He wears number 33 after his childhood hockey idol, Patrick Roy – “he played the style I like and I he was the best”.

• If he wasn’t playing hockey he would be an engineer and if he could be in any movie he would choose Wedding Crashers.
