• Foote led all Rockets defensemen in scoring with 6-51—57 during the 2016-17 regular season (71 GP) and added 1-6—7 in the playoffs (14 GP). His 51 assists during the regular season ranked second on the club behind forward Kole Lind (30-57—87 in 70 GP), the No. 23-ranked North American Skater.

• After being selected 43rd overall in the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft, Foote played two seasons with the Colorado Thunderbirds Under-16 team in the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League before making his WHL debut in 2015-16 (8-28—36 in 71 GP).

• His father, Adam, is a two-time Stanley Cup Champion (1996 and 2001 w/ COL) who patrolled the blueline for 1,154 career NHL games with the Nordiques, Avalanche, and Blue Jackets.
