• In his second season with the Remparts, Booth finished sixth in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League in both goals-against average (3.05) and save percentage (tied – .900). He also earned 23 wins in 41 appearances to help Quebec finish second in the East Division with a 40-25-3 record.

• Booth added a 1-1 record in four postseason appearances – highlighted by a 31-save shutout against Cape Breton – as backup to Zachary Fucale (selected 36th overall by MTL in 2013). In the QMJHL President Cup Final, Quebec fell to Rimouski in seven games.

• He was part of Canada’s gold medal-winning entry at the 2014 Ivan Hlinka Memorial, yielding only one goal in his lone appearance – a 5-1 victory over Slovakia. Booth also appeared in two games with Team Quebec at the 2014 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.

• In 2013-14, Booth was named to the QMJHL Rookie All-Star Team after posting an 11-5-3 record with a 2.68 goals-against average, .914 save percentage and one shutout.

• Booth began his minor hockey career as a skater before switching to goaltender at age nine, when he took over as his team’s netminder for the playoffs.

• His parents, Rob and Nicki, moved to Montreal from London, England in 1996.

• After being selected by Quebec in the third round (52nd overall) of the 2013 QMJHL Entry Draft, Booth and his parents received advice and had dinner with Colorado Avalanche head coach Patrick Roy and goaltender Semyon Varlamov.
