• Fitzpatrick posted 18 victories in 2015-16 to become the all-time wins leader for the Sherbrooke Phoenix (31 W) and help the club reach the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Playoffs for the third time in its four-year history.

• In 2014-15, he earned a spot on the QMJHL All-Rookie team after establishing a franchise record for wins by a first-year goaltender (13). That included a 26-save shutout victory on Oct. 19, 2014 against the Drummondville Voltigeurs, the only clean sheet ever by a Sherbrooke rookie goaltender.

• He was Canada’s starting goaltender at the 2016 Under-18 World Championship, posting a 3-2 record with a .895 save percentage to help the club reach the bronze medal game. He also represented his country at the 2014 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.

• He moved from Newfoundland to Nova Scotia to attend Newbridge Academy, where he played behind fellow 2016 NHL Draft prospect Luke Green (No. 40 NA Skater). Fitzpatrick was named a First Team All-Star in each of his two seasons with Newbridge and also claimed the Nova Scotia Major Bantam Hockey League’s Top Goaltender award in 2012-13.

• Fitzpatrick, selected fourth overall by Sherbrooke in 2014, is one of four goaltenders to be chosen in the top four selections in the QMJHL Draft over the past 10 years.
