On his style of play: I'd say I'm an offensive defenseman. But my strength is that I can be as offensive as defensive. I'm a complete defenseman.
On patterning his game: I'd like to play like Dion Phaneuf. I like his style. He hits a lot. He has a pretty hard shot and makes a lot of points. And he can still play 27 minutes per game.
On getting his start in hockey: In my hometown, everybody was playing hockey, so I just started like everybody else. I was five years old when I first skated. And I just loved it the first time I put my skates on.
On knowing he wanted to be a hockey player: Well, I started to play hockey in AAA during summer and I had to choose between soccer and hockey. And then my choice was hockey. Then from this moment on, I just didn't stop.
On his biggest influence: Definitely my dad. He always pushed me in my career, always encouraged me. He is there for a lot.
