• Earning his spot on Djurgården’s senior elite team, Josefson played against men at just 17-years of age, totaling 16 points (5-11-16) in 50 games this season. In 2007-08, he played for Djurgården’s junior team, recording 31 points (14-17-31) in 34 games.
• Josefson has represented Team Sweden on multiple occasions. In 2009 he participated in the World Junior Championships, winning a silver medal and the Under-18 World Championships, scoring seven points (2-5-7) with a plus-five rating in six games. He was also a member of Sweden’s Under-18 team that finished fourth at the World’s in 2008.
• His favorite international hockey memories were watching Sweden beat Finland 6-5 at the 2004 World Cup after Finland had held a 5-1 lead and winning the Under-16 national championship in Sweden with Djurgården in 2006-07.
• Following in the footsteps of his older brothers, he started skating at the age of two and played on his first hockey team, IK Göta, when he was five.
• He tries to be his own player, but he watches how Detroit’s Henrik Zetterberg and Tampa Bay’s Vincent Lecavalier act in different situations.
