On his style of play:  My strength is I'm a pretty big guy.  I think I'm pretty mobile, too, for my size.  I just want to play hard there and make some good plays -- go to the net, and just feel that my presence is felt on the ice.

On patterning his game after Dion Phaneuf and Rob Blake:  I want to play the same style as  Dion Phaneuf, and be strong on the ice.  And I like Rob Blake with the big shot on the blueline.  I don't want to compare myself to them, but I just try to play the same game as them.

On getting his start in hockey:  I think I was about maybe four years old and I would like skate on the ice with my dad at the park.  I started there.  And after I just wanted to play hockey in my hometown.

On what drew him to the game at a young age:  It's being part of the team sport -- I made a lot of friends there, and it just keeps me going.  I just love the sport and like winter sports.

On his most memorable hockey moment:  At the Under-17’s, I was on the ice with Team Quebec.  We won the gold medal there.  So that was the best moment, I think, in my career.

On playing in the QMJHL:  Playing in the Q, it's awesome.  It's a pretty good league.  We just play a lot, and have a lot of ice time now.  So I just try to improve myself as much as I can, and that's it.

On the biggest influences on his career:  I think my parents have had a lot of influence on my career.  I have some lows, and the first person who I call is my mom.
