• Romano ranked fifth among USHL rookies with 26-21—47 in 2018-19 to help the Sioux Falls Stampede capture the Clark Cup championship. His strong rookie campaign saw him earn a spot on the USHL All-Rookie Second Team.

• A native of Richmond Hill, Ont., Romano skated for Canada East at the 2017 World Junior A Challenge collecting one assist in three games.

• Romano, who has committed to Clarkson University for the 2019-20 season, models his style of play after Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner and Capitals forward Nicklas Backstrom.
