• Suzuki ranked second on the Attack and fifth in the Ontario Hockey League with 45-51—96 during the 2016-17 regular season (65 GP) and led the team with 8-15—23 in the playoffs (17 GP). He was the recipient of the William Hanley Trophy, awarded annually to the Most Sportsmanlike Player in the OHL.
• After being selected 14th overall in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection, Suzuki was named to the OHL First All-Rookie Team after leading Owen Sound rookies in goals, assists and points with 20-18—38 in 2015-16 (63 GP).
• Suzuki earned Player of the Year honors in 2014-15 after leading the Alliance Hockey League in goals and points with 34-34—68 as a member of the London Jr. Knights (31 GP).
• Internationally, Suzuki represented Canada at the 2016 Ivan Hlinka Memorial (1-2—3 in 4 GP) and won a gold medal with Canada White at the 2015 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge (1-3—4 in 6 GP).
